For this project I was commissioned by SLTC(Southeast Lineman Training Center) to create a composite of two bucket trucks rushing "Towards the Storm." The image was used for marketing in brochures, web, print, etc. I did the initial photo shoot at the SLTC campus in Trenton, GA. I shot multiple shots lighting the trucks in different spots to give me enough exposures to create the look I was going for. For my background plate I found a quite country road in Tunnel Hill, GA that had the look and feel I wanted. I created a panorama because one version of the image was meant to be wider with an open area for copy. To match the lighting and the angle of the trucks, I had to do a horizontal flip of the background image. Once I got all the assets into the comp., I then had to simulate rain, reflections, motion, and a stormy atmosphere. This quickly became one of my favorite images I have created to date!
